Sewing Basics

Learn the basics of how to sew in this beginner- friendly workshop!

Want to get started using a sewing machine, need a refresher, or just want a hands-on experience with the library? Join us in the John McIntire Makerspace as we partner with Alexus Masterson and a 4-H member of the OSU Extension Office to explore the different parts of a sewing machine and learn the basics! Sewing opens many doors to creativity including mending, making new projects, and salvaging for crafts and other art pieces.

During this program we will also have information about our sewing machines available for checkout!

This program will take place on September 3rd from 4:30pm-6:30pm in the Makerspace. Registration is required for this program. Please contact our help desk or facilitator Hailey Rantz with any questions.
