Laundry Basics
Thursday, September 17
3:30pm - 4:30pm
John McIntire Library
Meeting Room 7Are you a teen or new adult? Have questions about why your socks keep turning pink or what the symbols on your tags mean? Join us as we explore the basics of laundry care we often take for granted.
Many people go most of their lives tossing their clothes into the washer with the same detergent they've always used and sticking to the presets, but have you ever learned to properly take care of your clothes? Proper laundry care can not only increase the lifespan of your clothes, but it can have them fitting and feeling better than ever! Alexus Masterson with the OSU Extension Office will be joining us to explain the basics of laundry care, including the many symbols we find on tags and the importance of sorting and washing. This program is open to anyone, whether a teen or new adult learning the basics, a family learning to split responsibility, or someone looking to preserve their favorite shirts no longer available in stores!
Please contact our help desk or facilitator, Hailey Rantz, with any questions.
