Patches, jewelry, zines, posters, music, and safety pins. Join the library in this gritty DIY workshop and take the chance to connect to an underground community.

Punk culture is built on decades of independence, misfits, and a strong do-it-yourself attitude. This summer, the library invites you to join this DIY workshop where we'll create patches, jewelry, zines, posters, and more. Providing an open space to explore and learn, this workshop is meant to highlight self-expression and the strong community within punk culture. Step out of your comfort zone and learn to make accessories that highlight your creativity, individuality, and make a statement!

All materials will be provided by the library, including a sewing machine and pliers. Want to bring your own materials? Please contact our facilitator, Hailey Rantz, for more information.

This event will take place in the John McIntire Makerspace from 5pm-6:30pm. Registration is requested for this event, and walk-ins are welcome. Please contact our information desk or facilitator Hailey Rantz for any additional questions.
