Want to get started in writing but not sure where to start? This program will allow a relaxed first step in exploring language and writing through poetry.
Anyone can be a creative writer, but a blank page can be daunting, even for seasoned authors. Sometimes we just need a reset or a place to begin exploring what speaks to us! Black out poetry is a great starting point for those wanting to begin a new hobby, refine their skills, or seek another creative outlet. Black out poetry encourages use of text (book pages, newspapers, collages, etc.) and markers to select words or phrases that spark the imagination and inspire us. Even using the same pages, no two results will be the same! Those looking for a fresh activity that can help get creativity flowing are invited to join us.
