Welcome to the Muskingum County Library System
Learn all about some amazing raptors and their superpowers with the Ohio School of Falconry. They will be bringing some birds with them for an extra special learning experience.
The program centers on the science of flight. It discusses the history of flight starting with the Wright Brothers and how by observing birds we have learned how to create aircraft. It will talk about physics and all of the forces related to flight as well as touch on the superpowers birds (specifically raptors) have that make them so well adapted to flight and allow them to fly at speeds of up to 200mph.
