Hooper's Crossing, New York, 1952. Lily Denton dreams of going to New York City, but her overprotective father won't ease up on her. She spends her days working at the library and her nights hoping life won't pass her by. As tourists fill the streets for the Fall Festival, professional photographer Boone Tatum snaps Lily's photograph, and suddenly leaving this nowhere town is the furthest thing from Boone's mind. But danger has slipped silently into this sleepy town, throwing Lily and Boone's dream of a life together into peril. Participants will be loaned a copy of the book.
