Join Muskingum 250 and the MCLS for a unique historical perspective when we discuss Peggy Shippen Arnold, wife of the infamous Benedict Arnold. This Philadelphia socialite proved instrumental in the treacherous plot schemed with her husband and British Major John Andre for the prize of West Point. This lecture will highlight life in high society and wartime espionage techniques during the Revolutionary War. This free program at the MCLS Dresden Branch Library will feature speaker Charlene M. Boyer from the Organization of American Historians.
