Welcome to the Muskingum County Library System
This interactive program teaches teens real-world money skills. Teens are given a job and a salary, then shown how to budget for needs and wants. A hands-on way to practice without real-life risks.
Adulting 101 is a hands-on life skills program designed to help teens ages 12-18 prepare for real-world responsibilities. Participants are assigned a mock job complete with a salary, then challenged to manage their money by budgeting for everyday needs - like housing, food, transportation, and utilities-along with personal wants. Through interactive activities and real-life scenarios, students learn how to make smart financial choices, prioritize spending, and understand the consequences of their decisions. Adulting 101 makes learning about money practical, eye-opening, and fun-because growing up doesn't have to be overwhelming!
