Welcome to the Muskingum County Library System
Explore how pollinators affect our everyday lives and how you can control and prevent pests. Learn how pest control can help our pollinator friends and why a balanced ecosystem is important!
Interested in learning about beekeeping? Whether as a new career opportunity or out of general curiosity, join us on February 18th to continue our exciting series on beekeepers and the importance of the work they do and the bees they care for! Muskingum Soil and Water Conservation District and Central State University Extension will be partnering with the library this winter to provide information on bees and the best ways to care for them. This part of our beekeeping series will focus on some trouble new beekeepers may encounter including pests. Learn the different risks to beekeepers and their hives, learn how to control pests, and promote a safe, balanced, and healthy environment for the bees!
Weren't able to make it to our other sessions but want to know what all the buzz is about? No worries! Whether continuing to gain knowledge on beekeeping or wanting to stop in for the first time, all are welcome!
