Welcome to the Muskingum County Library System
Learn even more about the importance of our most common pollinators! Learn about the life of a beekeeper, how bees are cared for, and how a beeyard is started and maintained.
Muskingum Soil and Water Conservation District and Central State University Extension will be partnering with the library to continue exploring what beekeeping looks like in the winter. This program will be a place for everyone to learn about the importance of bees as pollinators and what it looks like in a beekeeper's world! Whether you are interested in exploring a potential hobby, career, or just wanting to learn something fun and new, this program is fit for all levels of knowledge and experience. Learn the basics to beekeeping and find beeyard resources to ensure a good environment for happy, healthy bees. Weren't able to make it to the first event? No problem! All are welcome to learn and explore, no registration required!
There will not be any bees present during our winter beekeeping series! This program will take place at the Duncan Falls Branch Library from 5-6 PM on February 4th from 5-6pm.
