In "An Unfinished Love Story: A Personal History of the 1960s," Doris Kearns Goodwin offers a blend of memoir and history, chronicling her and her husband Richard Goodwin's exploration of his extensive personal archives. Their journey through over three hundred boxes of letters and documents becomes a window into the transformative era of the 1960s.
