Experience "The Patriot" like never before on the big screen at Ohio University Zanesville’s Elson Hall auditorium! In collaboration with Muskingum 250, this gripping historical drama follows a widowed farmer (Mel Gibson) with a violent past who initially refuses to fight in the Revolutionary War. But when his son (Heath Ledger) is captured by the British, he forms a militia of Carolina patriots, using guerrilla tactics that prove crucial to the war effort.

This film is rated R and is not intended for children.
