Join the Dillon State Park Naturalist, Michael Durst, and the MCLS to learn archery skills. In this fun and interactive program, attendees will learn the fundamentals of archery, for ages 10+.
Archery 101 will introduce participants to "bow and arrow" basics. The program will focus on beginner skills, safety instruction, and outdoor adventure. Experienced instructors will guide participants in the proper use of archery equipment, form, and techniques. Join the fun and gain confidence as you learn new skills.
Archery 101 will meet at the Dillon State Park Archery Range at 4880 Dillon Hills Dr, Nashport, OH 43830. (The program location is at the bottom of "Sled Hill" opposite Foundry Drive.) Restrooms are available at the Park Office and Camp Store sites. Prepare for an outdoor program, participants must dress accordingly. Closed-toe shoes are required; no Crocs, no sandals.
Register early, with 24 slots available. The program is designed for ages 10+.
