Welcome to the Muskingum County Library System
Are you a teen who's interested in creative writing? The Inkblots Writers Group is ready to help inspire, suggest, encourage, and collaborate. Ages 10-18.
“If there’s a book you really want to read but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.” ~Toni Morrison
- Do you scribble character sketches in the margins of your history
notebook?
- Do you write lines of poetry on the palm of your hand?
- Do you make up stories about the strangers you see at Walmart?
- Do you steal lines your friends say and put them into dialogue?
If any of these things are true for you, consider joining the Inkblots Writers.
At the meetings, we: write together to prompts, read our work, inspire, suggest, encourage, and collaborate. We share publishing information, revision tips, and constructive ways to offer and receive input on the work. You create the group, the atmosphere, the stories, novels, poems, scripts, and essays. This is a safe place to be the writer you are or want to be.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact Elizabeth: ej.christy@gmail.com or the John McIntire Library: (740) 453-0391 ext 115.
